Bailee Scheuffele

Faculty

Bailee grew up on a tiny island in Alaska and moved to Seattle in high school. She completed all her higher learning here and joined the Morningside faculty in fall of 2019 (just in time for the COIVD shutdowns). In addition to classroom teaching, she helps develop and refine curriculum, presents active classroom research, and helps to mentor incoming faculty. Bailee has always been professionally focused on education and the role community plays in that domain, working as the Education Director at the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club, a paraprofessional in an elementary school, and a behavior technician working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. She went to UW for undergrad and has master’s degrees from Florida Institute of Technology (Behavior Analysis) and Seattle Pacific University (Special Education). She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a member of the Association of Behavior Analysis International, the Association of Contextual Behavior Science, and the Standard Celeration Society. Additionally, she has over a decade of executive board experience with youth-focused arts organizations in Seattle. When not thinking about teaching, Bailee can be found writing short stories, being active, learning new crafts with her son, and trying to remember to drink enough water.
