Many families are all too familiar with the daily challenge of balancing school, work, after school activities, and… the dreaded homework at the end of it all. At Morningside Academy, we believe that parents should get to just be parents, not parents AND teachers. Students in our Foundations classrooms have no homework at all and students in our Accelerated classrooms are explicitly taught how tackle the skill of doing homework to prepare them for high school. Thank you to former Morningside student Oliver (Or OJ or Ollie) for his help in Emerson’s afternoon math class during summer school! He says his favorite thing about volunteering at Morningside is being able to give back and share what he learned here with current students. We are so grateful our students had the opportunity to learn from him!
